We often hear these words in the context of business and the relationship they have (or hope to have) with their customers. Businesses want loyal customers. We choose to do business or frequent a particular establishment because we trust them.
We use these same words when it comes to relationships. We value loyalty and we expect trust from those we include in our inner circle.
For Your Consideration
We are partway through the first month of the year. For those of you who want numbers, we’ve completed 4.38% of this calendar year. In short, there’s a long way to go before we close the book on 2014. If, like me, you’ve identified key words to guide your story or created a list of resolutions for the New Year and you’re struggling a little, I invite you to add the following two words to your vocabulary starting today: Loyalty and Trust.
Be loyal to yourself: Don’t second guess yourself. Be loyal to the commitment you made to yourself. Believe in yourself.
Trust in who you are: No one said it was going to be easy. Trust in your ability to make it happen. Believe in yourself.
Be well and make it a great day!
