“There is little difference in people, but that little difference makes a big difference. The little difference is attitude. The big difference is whether it is positive or negative.” ~ W. Clement Stone
Think about this … you’ve just had an amazing year. Life is good; you enjoy your work; your two kids are following in your footsteps and just got married; and, you’re putting the finishing touches on a mission trip to Guatemala.
That’s what 2009 was for our guest on this week’s episode. Audrey Kamphenkel had just experienced a great year, but something wasn’t right. On January 22, 2010 she received the news that she had a brain tumor. It’s easy to think that, in a moment like this, one’s instinct to immediately imagine the worst case scenario … bu not Audrey! As you’ll quickly find out, Audrey is a person with strong faith and a positive attitude. Her passion for life shines through during our conversation and, having know Audrey for a little over a year now, I can tell you that it shines even brighter in real life. I was inspired by her story … I know you will be as well.
