For our third episode, we’re in conversation with Eric Anderson, a self-described international education professional and devoted Bronco’s fan! I’ve known Eric for more than 17 years and am always energized by the time we spend together. We connected during a recent trip I made to Colorado and spent part of our time together talking about study abroad programs.
As Manager of US Institutional Relations for AustraLearn, AsiaLearn and EuroLearn, Eric provides mentorship and support to the team of Regional Directors. Eric also serves as a Regional Director for five states, including Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, and his home state of Colorado.
Eric graduated from Arizona State University, and spent ten years leading casts of 140+ international students on year-long tours throughout N. America, Europe and Asia with the international educational program Up With People. After leaving Up With People, Eric spent three years managing the operations of the Olympic Youth Camp for the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, before joining AustraLearn/AsiaLearn/EuroLearn in January of 2004.
GlobaLinks Learning Abroad offers education abroad programs throughout the world through the AustraLearn, AsiaLearn, and EuroLearn program streams.
If you or someone you know is considering studying abroad, Eric and the folks at GlobalLinks Learning Abroad are people you should be connecting with because … Students are their work, their passion, and their obligation. They are a trusted partner in international education because of how they do their work each and every day.
Joining us for the interview was Eric’s cat Moses. Although he remained silent for the entire conversation, his affect on me did not. I’m allergic to cats and, as you will hear, this reality became apparent as the conversation progressed. I apologize for the sniffles!
Enjoy the conversation!
