Welcome to Season 2, Episode 2 of The Conversation Hub! This week, I’m delighted to bring you my conversation with Ann-Michelle Burton.
The theme for this season revolves around “Living An Expat Life.” An expat (short for expatriate) is a person temporarily or permanently residing in a country other than that of their citizenship.
About Ann-Michelle Burton
Ann-Michelle is an American expat now making a life and a living in Doha, Qatar.
Her expat story starts at the tender age of 8 when she moved to the Netherlands with her family. At that time, her mother made a critical decision – she didn’t want to live in the “American” neighborhood and wanted to fully immerse her family in the Dutch culture. By the time she left the Netherlands a few years later, Ann-Michelle was fluent in Dutch.
