Welcome to Season 1, Episode 3 of The Conversation Hub. This week, I’m in conversation with Jean-François (J.F.) Claude, the founder of the The Men’s D.E.N.
The theme for this season revolves around living a “Life In Session” and, as you’ll hear, J.F. is certainly doing this and helping others to do so.
About Jean-François (J.-F.) Claude
Jean-François was diagnosed with Double Depression in 2012 at the age of 40 – with General Anxiety Disorder later thrown into the mix. He’s turned adversity into advocacy for men’s mental health and founded The Men’s D.epression E.ducation N.etwork, a blog and Web portal to online information, resources and e-tools focussed on depression in men. He was instrumental in the enacting of a City of Ottawa Proclamation of a Men’s Mental Health Awareness Day on June 10, 2014, in the week leading up to Fathers’ Day.
You can find him online at www.themensden.ca.
For commentary on life and other bite-sized inspiration – 140 characters at a time – I encourage you to follow him on Twitter at @DysthymicDad.
NOTE: This week (week of May 4-10, 2015) marks the Canadian Mental Health Association’s (CHMA) 64th annual Mental Health Week. You can learn about #MentalHealth week here.
Enjoy the conversation and remember to live a #lifeinsession!
