When I launched this podcast series more than a year ago, it was in part to bring life to something I firmly believe in – that through conversations, knowledge is shared.
Our conversation this week is all about sharing knowledge. Our guest, Laurent Soucie, is a beekeeper and as you’ll hear during our conversation, he is passionate about what he does. Even after 15 years, Laurent still is mesmerized by bees and the critical resource they are for the survival and sustainability of our food sources.
Enjoy the conversation!
About Laurent Soucie
For Laurent Soucie, beekeeping is a passion, hobby and a summer business. He has is own apiary of 25 hives, processes his own honey, provides honey bee removal services for swarms or hives located in buildings, and educates the general public on bee keeping and the importance of bees to our food supply.
About 20 years ago after moving to the rural Scenic Lodi Valley area, Laurent Soucie was able to set up his own bee yard, honey house and raise his own bees for honey for the family.
