Photographers play a special role in our lives. We invite them to capture the special moments of our lives.
Our guest this week, Master Photographer Lisa Crayford, has been capturing moments on film for most of her life. For her, life behind the lens equals joy ad happiness. As you’ll hear during our conversation, Lisa is eager to capture the special moments in the lives of her subjects.
She invited us in her studio for what I found to be an interesting conversation – especially when she shared the story about her trip to Haiti.
Enjoy the conversation.
About Lisa Crayford
Lisa Crayford (CPP, M.Photog., Cr., ABI, CBM, ASF-MPPA) opened her own studio, Country Gallery, on April 1, 1999. In November 2001, she moved from her garage to a 6000 sq ft studio. Her studio is on 10 beautiful acres in the town of Kingston, MN. Along with her staff, Lisa photographs lots of fun high school seniors, weddings, bouncy babies, cute kids, playful pets and tons of sports teams.
Her favorite …. well, she loves the variety of everything she does. Print competition is a huge inspiration for her and keeps her creativity flowing. Through print competitions, she’s received loan collection images, a Fuji Masterpiece Award, the prestigious Kodak Gallery Award and Court of Honor for the state of Minnesota.
She loves to travel and teach and, for that reason, has shared her knowledge and experiences with other artists all over the country. Having photographed events all over the world.
Lisa is married to Chris Crayford and together they have two beautiful daughters, Nora and Sophie and two black labs, Abby and Marlie.
