For this week’s episode, we host a wide-ranging conversation on mental health with author and therapist Tamarah Gehlen. We also discuss a new “movement” our guest is launching called the Movement for Acceptance.
About Tamarah Gehlen
Tamarah Gehlen has been working with families and children for 10 years. As a speaker, author and therapist she brings a fresh perspective, honesty and sense of humor to her topics.
Her experience includes running a treatment center for addicted teens & their families since 2009. This is in addition to operating a private practice where she sees couples, families and individuals. One of her specialties is EMDR – a specific therapy that assists persons dealing with trauma/PTSD. Diagnostic assessments can also be done upon request.
Tamarah has worked with schools to speak with classes on a variety of topics, and has spoken to groups at events like the MSSA conference, St. Louis County Conference, MACPO, MN Association of Children’s Mental Health, & more.
